Ian Patterson
Having graduated from Liverpool University with an Honours Degree in Law I joined a local authority to complete my legal training before qualifying. Whilst the work in local authority was varied and interesting comprising large property transactions, Social Services and Court work I decided at an early date after qualifying that my interests lay in private practice.
I have been practising law in Leicester since 1970 in small local firms. After 12 years as a sole practitioner, I joined astills as consultant in 2007.
In my early years in practise, I combined criminal work with property and family work. Latterly I have concentrated on domestic and commercial property, wills and probate, providing an individual service to many families in Leicestershire and nationally.
My interest in the law has been the individuals who are my clients. I hope I have and will continue to look after my clients interests in an efficient and individual way to offer effective and prompt attention to all their legal matters.
